Sub Trochanteric Fracture Nailing on Simple table

This video shows the demonstration of PFN in a sub trochanteric fracture on a simple table in lateral position. The main advantage of this position is the distal fragment can be brought in alignment with proximal fragment by flexion and adduction. Also the surgeon need not have to get out of the way for taking lateral view under C arm unlike while operating on a Orthopaedic Table.
