Pandemic has forced us to improvise in many ways specially how orthopaedic education is shared and consumed
Fellowships have been intergral part of education and innovation in this field was essential too. We realise that although surgical skills learning and practical experience are very important part of any fellowship, a lot can be learned about practical decision making, management protocols, safe surgical protocols and much more through virtual channels too. We started the first fellowship in Orthopaedic Infections and second in Pediatric Orthopaedics. Both received amazing response and based on the Learnings we were able to design Virtual Online Orthopaedic Fellowship programs for other faculty too
