Dr Anand J Thakur is in practice since April 1975. Dr Thakur specializes in management of fracture surgery and joint preserving surgeries (avoiding joint replacement) for arthritis. Under his guidance the nursing home has speciality clinics in osteoporosis and foot and ankle problems. He has worked in India and abroad in various positions in orthopaedics. Formerly he was Hon. Consultant and Professor of orthopaedic surgery at a public hospital in Mumbai. He has authored 3 books in orthopaedics that are essential reading material for post-graduate students in orthopaedic surgery all over the world and reference work for established orthopaedic surgeon. He is a post-graduate teacher and accredited speaker for medical council. He was president of Bombay Orthopaedic Society and is a member of national and international orthopaedic societies. He is a regular speaker at several orthopaedic conferences across the countries and abroad.

Author of acclaimed award-winning books, “Elements of Fracture Fixation”, “Radiological Positioning for Orthopaedicians and Radiologist” and “Locking Plates: Concepts and Applications”. He is also Past President of Bombay Orthopaedic Society
