Dr. Kemal Gokkus is an Orthopedic Surgeon who lives in Antalya, Turkey. He is an active academician of Baskent University Medical Faculty (Alanya-Hospital) .
He deals routinely in general practice, especially in Foot & Ankle common and mostly in Trauma surgeries. He had a good number of collections regarding complicated cases. He had a particular interest in ankle arthroscopy, treatment of talus osteochondral lesions, and Achilles tendon rupture.
He is a member of the Turkish Association for Orthopaedics and Traumatology and Foot and Ankle Surgery division, Education Council of the Turkish Association for Orthopaedics and Traumatology and AO trauma Europe. Additionnaly he is the active member of Turkish Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Association.
He had 35 published articles in Index-Medicus. He had a very positive experience with the Indian journals .and had six published articles at Indian based Orthopedic journals. He has been invited as a guest editor to write about "Dysplasia epiphyseal hemimelica" by the Journal of postgraduate medicine in 2014
He is the author of 13 cases in Orthobullet and owner of the nine videos broadcasted in the Orthobullet electronic encyclopedia. He also contributed the "Dysplasia epiphyseal hemimelica" chapter in Wikipedia.
Passionate about Orthopaedic education, He has already been in the US (2006) as a visiting doctor and Germany (2012) as an Internship.
He established a YouTube channel named "Orthopaedics & Trauma in Youtube" in June/2018 that dedicated to comprehensive Orthopedic education.
